Find what you're looking for by using the search bar at the top of the screen. Toggle between talent or projects, and search based on keywords. Use the filters to further refine your results.

Browse by things like skill, genre, language, style, and more to find creative talent and ready-to-buy projects.

Visit talent profiles to view their portfolios, projects, read ratings and reviews, and request quotes by privately inviting them to new or existing jobs.
If you come across a talent that you really like and could imagine hiring for your job, save them to your Favorites list. You will be able to find them again quickly when you need them.

Search for projects by keyword and use the filters on the left hand side of the screen to narrow down your results.

Once you’ve chosen your project, you can select from different packages or usage and even include add ons to make sure your project suites your needs. Packages are only available with some non-broadcast jobs. Broadcast jobs have usage instead of packages.

Just before finishing your purchase you’ll have the chance to tell the talent about your creative vision, job requirements and to include scripts or other helpful documents.

Once the requirements have been completed, the talent will be notified and will get to work. All you have to do is wait for the predetermined delivery date and then download your completed files.

You can click Post a Job from the top navigation menu anywhere on Voices and you can begin to fill out the job posting form. Start by giving your project a name.

Let the talent know how and where their work will be used, including type of project, whether or not it is part of an advertisement, how long it will run for, and the geography it will run in.

Filling out as many fields as possible helps talent reply with responses tailored to your needs. Posting a music job also requires performance details but the fields will vary from those required for voice over.

Provide a small script for the talent to read in their audition. You can upload a script, copy/paste or you can use one provided by Voices.

Project Requirements will vary depending on the job you're hiring for. This section gives you the opportunity to include information talent need to know in order to send strong responses for you to review.

Determine how much money you have to spend on this project, whether it’s a fixed budget or a range. This will help talent quote on the work.

See all of your posted jobs in one convenient spot, along with the relevant service and number of responses at a glance.

When you first post a job, it will be in Reviewing status, when you’re receiving replies it will be in Hiring status, and when completed work files are uploaded, the job will be marked Done.
Review talent responses to your posting all in one place. Evaluate submissions, proposals, and price quotes quickly and easily.
If you need to, you can create a shortlist to send to your colleagues or clients. They can offer quick feedback through a built-in voting system and don’t need a Voices account to do so.
Award the job to the talent you want to work with by clicking Hire. Once clicked, you’ll be asked to confirm payment so that funds can be held safely in SurePay™.
The job agreement is what you and the talent have agreed upon regarding the project details, technical requirements, and fees to get the job done. Once the talent accepts the job agreement, they will begin working on your job.
Voices’ SurePay™ allows you to easily hire talent and keeps your money secure while the work is completed. Once you’ve received the completed work, Voices releases payment to the talent directly. When you add an additional payment, it works the same way.
You can make an additional payment to talent if further revisions or additions are made to the original scope of the project. You can do this by clicking + Add a Payment from the Payments or the Agreements tab of the job in question. Additional Payments are handled through SurePay™ and generate their own job agreement.
Talent upload their work directly to Voices via the Files tab of the job in question. You’ll be notified in Messages when the file has been uploaded, and you can either request a revision (which notifies the talent) or approve and download the file.
Once you’ve received the finished work, the funds will be released from SurePay™ to the talent through PayPal.

You can access payment details in the payments tab of each of your jobs. Read payment details for each transaction you complete, and download a PDF copy or print for your records if you need to.

Download and print transaction records, track spending, print invoices, and see all of your transactions in one convenient place.

Start with your Overview by choosing your Service and Skill. Fill in a strong Project Title and any other relevant details.

You have the option to create 1 or 3 packages: Essential, Enhanced, and Elite. Define the scope of work, including number of words, delivery days, and revisions.

Your included package options will differ depending on which service or skill you're creating a project for. Build your packages thoughtfully, thinking about what makes sense to include in each.

Think through what clients might want to add to your package if they want something specific, but don't want to go up to the next package level.

Broadcast Voice Over and Music projects have just one package to fill out, and the main pricing differentiator will lie in Market and Time Period combinations rather than Essential, Enhanced, and Elite packages.

Your Project Summary provides clients with more detail on what they’ll receive with this project and what type of prior experience you’ll bring to the project—what sets you apart?

Setting up FAQs in your project listing helps clients better understand what you’re offering. Think of these as anticipating questions the client might have to help them move forward with their purchase.

Upload a custom image to help your project stand out and catch the eye of the client.

Select up to 3 samples of your work to attach to your project. You’ll have the option to choose from relevant demos or portfolio samples or upload sample work from your computer.

Request anything you need from the client to get the project completed.

The last step before you submit your project is to take a look over the preview of how your project will appear to clients.

As soon as you submit your project, it will move from your Draft tab to your Pending Review tab. Once your project is approved, it will move to the Approved tab.

You can always navigate to Manage Projects from the Me dropdown menu at the top-right of your Voices account. Each of your projects will also have a service label and you’ll have the following options to manage each project individually.
Upload a photo of yourself to present a professional, polished image. Clients are more likely to trust and hire talent with a profile photo.
Introduce yourself to potential clients. Include a brief summary of yourself (feel free to add some personality!) and your career background as a creative professional.
Add the services you offer from the left toolbar. Current options are Voice Over, Audio Production, Music, and Translation.
Select at least one skill within each of the services you offer. For example, if you added Audio Production as your service, you might choose Audio Editing as your skill.
Provide a summary of the specific skill you offer and why someone should hire you. Be as specific as you can about your capabilities. Some sections may differ depending on which skill you’re filling out.
Share your past work experience in a specific skill with potential clients. Clients want to see past work experience that is similar to the job they are posting.
List the companies and brands you’ve done work for. If you’re unsure whether a client is comfortable being included, make sure to reach out to them first.
Show clients what others have said about the work you’ve done outside of Voices. You can type the testimonial and the company or person you’ve received it from in this section.
For each skill you add, you must add either a Demo (Voice Over) or a Portfolio Sample (Audio Production, Music, and Translation). These are essential for clients to be able to find you and understand the quality of your work.
Clients can leave a feedback rating and review for you, and you can do the same for them. They can also leave a compliment if they feel you excelled in a particular area. Compliment badges and reviews are displayed on your profile and are a great way to build your online reputation.
Analyze your progress and do more of what’s working for you. Only subscribing voice over talent have access to Statistics.

Your JobMatch™ (formerly VoiceMatch™) score lets you know how closely matched you are to a job posting. The more complete your profile, the better your JobMatch™ scores.

Clients can request that public invitations be sent out to talent whose profiles best match the job’s requirements. Only Premium and Platinum members have access to public invitations.

Clients have the option of privately inviting you, and other talent, to their jobs after finding you via search and your profile. A blue envelope icon indicates that you’ve been privately invited to the job.

Jobs you’re invited to respond to are listed in your account under Hiring. You can get to a job via a link in the Voices email you receive or by logging in and clicking on Jobs > Hiring.

Next to each job in your Job List you will see a variety of icons. A purple featured icon indicates a job that was posted by a Voices Plus client expecting a fast response turnaround. A blue ‘V’ icon indicates that this job was posted by a Voices Account Manager and is a Professional Services job.

In the Hiring tab, filter jobs to show the newest invitations at the top. In the Answered tab, view the jobs you’ve responded to. If the client has moved to the decision-making phase, its status will say Deciding.
Job details will fully describe the project requirements, budget range, response deadline, and project deadline.
Respond to jobs that you are most qualified to do. Your JobMatch™ (formerly VoiceMatch™) score helps you prioritize your list and makes responding simple.
Send the client a short note explaining why you are the best candidate for the job. Think of this as your cover letter.
Save time replying to jobs by creating templated proposals. Make as many templates as you think you’ll need to address the different types of jobs you will be responding to.
Submit a quote when responding to a job so that the client knows what to expect. The client will have included a fixed budget or a budget range to help guide you.

When responding to a job, you must include a response file. This might be a custom read (voice over jobs) or a selected portfolio sample (audio, music, translation jobs). Your response file should demonstrate your skills in action.
When a client awards a job to you, a simple job agreement is sent for your review, solidifying the terms and deadlines you’ve discussed. Accept the job agreement to move ahead with the job.
Deliver completed work to a client by uploading the project files to Voices. Simple and straightforward.
Never wait on payment again. When you’re hired, Voices’ SurePay™ system takes client funds and holds them securely while you work. Once your work is received and approved by your client, funds are released directly to you through PayPal.
You’ll see three tabs in your payments list. Held in SurePay™, payments being held securely by Voices while you work; Completed, payments Voices has released to you; and All Payments, a summary of both of these transactions in one spot.
The three statuses are Pending, the payment from the client has not yet been deposited; In SurePay™, the payment is being held securely while you work; and Released, the payment has been released to you.

If the project scope changes, it may be necessary for the client to pay you more than what was outlined in the job agreement. You can request via Messages that the client add an Additional Payment to the job.
